Return Policy for Online Orders

We offer free in-store returns and easy mail-in returns for online purchases.

Due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation in Canada, all Eclipse Stores had temporarily closed to ensure the safety of our employees and customers. In provinces where retail remains closed, in-store returns are unavailable at this time.


In provinces where permitted, Eclipse Stores have reopened. In these provinces, in-store returns are now available.


We want you to be completely satisfied with every item you purchase from eclipsestores.com. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items to our distribution centre within 45 days of the shipping date. The only items purchased at eclipsestores.com which are FINAL SALE are socks, jewellery, sunglasses, bralettes and bodysuits, unless they are defective.



During these challenging times, we have modified our return policy for online purchases. We will gladly refund, within 45 days of the shipping date, all unwashed, unworn and fully tagged eligible merchandise when accompanied by the original packing slip. After 45 days, we will no longer accept returns.


Due to the current situation with our stores closed, we are only able to accept online returns mailed back to our distribution centre.


Refunds will be issued in the method of payment originally used to complete the purchase. Please note that original shipping fees will not be refunded. You may exchange an online purchase in person at any Eclipse or Rio location. Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges of merchandise purchased online by mail.


Eclipse Stores are now open in provinces where permitted. In these provinces, online purchases made after March 1st may be returned in store up to 14 days after the store reopens or June 1st, whichever date is the later.


In provinces where retail has not yet reopened, online purchases cannot be returned in store at this time.



To return the item by mail, you must enclose the original packing slip with the item. Keep a copy of this document for your records.


If you do not have your original packing slip, include the following information with your return:

  • Billing name, address and phone number
  • Shipping name, address and phone number
  • Order number
  • Reason for return

Pack the items securely in the original packaging if possible. Ship your return package to the appropriate address below:

Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure you ship your package to the correct location.


All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. shipments.


Keep a record of the tracking number for the package you are returning to ensure that the package is returned to the eclipsestores.com office.


We do our best to ensure you receive exactly what you ordered. If we shipped you the wrong item, or if you find an item to be defective, contact our Customer Service team as soon as possible. Do not return the item before contacting us, as we may assist you with return shipping fees. If you return a defective item or an item received in error without contacting us first, you will be responsible for all return shipping charges.

Due to the current situation with our stores closed, we are unable to accept in-store exchanges at this time. Unfortunately, we do not offer exchanges of eclipsestores.com merchandise by mail. Alternatively, you may follow the instructions for returning an item by mail and re-order a new item at eclipsestores.com. Because the availability of items can change quickly, we recommend placing a new order right away.

Return Policy for In-Store Purchases


Eclipse Stores are now open in provinces where permitted. In these provinces, in store purchases made after March 1st may be returned in store up to June 1st or 14 days after the in store purchase, whichever date is the later.


In provinces where retail has not yet reopened, purchases cannot be returned in store at this time.


Merchandise must be unwashed, unworn, fully tagged and accompanied by the original sales receipt to be eligible for refund.


Refunds will be issued in the form of payment originally used to complete the purchase. If you do not have the original receipt, you will be credited the current selling price of the item(s) in the form of an Eclipse gift card. To process the refund, you will be required to give your name and telephone number. Please note that we will handle this information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


Some items purchased in store are final sale (see list below) and are not eligible for a refund or exchange.


Eclipse Stores are now open in provinces where permitted. In these provinces, in store purchases made after March 1st may be exchanged in store up to June 1st or 30 days after the in store purchase, whichever date is the later.


In provinces where retail has not yet reopened, purchases cannot be exchanged in store at this time.


Merchandise must be unwashed, unworn, fully tagged and in its original condition to be eligible for exchange.



The following items are final sale when purchased in-store and cannot be returned or exchanged: socks, jewellery, sunglasses, bodysuits, dresses, jumpsuits, rompers, bralettes and glitter styles.
